Int'l cooperation min. shares 1st GEM promotion film on social media

CAIRO, Feb 2 (MENA) - International Cooperation Minister Rania Mashaat shared on her social media account the first film to promote the Grand Egyptian Museum which was displayed on Sunday by Discovery Channel.

Commenting on the film on the Instgram, she said the Ministry of International Cooperation played a pivotal role to raise funds for the Grand Egyptian Museum from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), inviting the whole world to share the Egypt the inauguration of the museum in 2020.

Mashaat thanked Antiquities Minister Khaled Aani and General Supervisor of GEM project Atef Muftah for their outstanding efforts.

In September, the Tourism Ministry announced engaging in partnerships with international associations, including Discovery Channel, to promote the modern image of Egypt.
