CAIRO - 5 January 2020: Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Manar directed the bodies concerned to provide facilities for passengers convenience, especially for the elderly and people with special needs.

The Minister made his directives during an expanded tour of Sharm El Sheikh International Airport to ensure the smooth running of operations at the airport, which is witnessing heavy tourist traffic during the peak holiday season.

According to a statement released by the ministry, the minister inspected the travel and arrival halls at the airport, passport counters, baggage belts, duty free shops, distinguished service breaks, and the air control tower.

He also check all security measures inside the airport, in addition to the external fences, surveillance cameras and entry and exit gates, in the context of continuous follow-up of the work progress in various locations, especially Egyptian airports.
