CAIRO – 15 June 2017: Kaitlyn Dobrow is a Beauty blogger on Instagram and YouTube. Even though she is a quadruple amputee, she makes tutorials about makeup. She is an extraordinary women that has attracted millions of views on her YouTube channel. Viewers can watch her perfectly apply makeup with prosthetics.

Viewers are interested to know more about what she does. They also want to know how she came to be a quadruple amputee - a fact highlighted by the 6 million views on her YouTube video.

“At the age of 19 I was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis causing me to lose all four of my limbs and over half of my skin. I did 21 surgeries and spent about six month In hospital,” Dobrow said in the video.

Dobrow uses prosthetic legs and arms. She has had skin surgeries that left her skin disfigured with pink blotched scars on her face.
However, Dobrow is satisfied with her beauty. She never hides her prosthetic legs and arms in her pictures, nor does she cover them. She is not ashamed of the scars on her face. “God said that shows you’re a warrior, don’t try to hide them,” Dobrow told The OCR website.

After losing her limbs, she was forced to re-learn everything. Kaitlyn not only learned how to walk but she learned how to apply make-up.

"The first thing I picked up with my prosthetic arm was a makeup brush," Dobrow told TODAY Style adding that she became curious about makeup after watching YouTube videos, and dreamed of starting her own channel.

"I just started thinking, that would be really fun to do," Dobrow said. "and it's something I can do."

Dobrow is publishing her makeup tutorials on different social media platforms, and she has a strong following also. Her facebook page has 118K likes, her Instagram has 155K followers, and 197K subscribers on Youtube.

“I wouldn't change this experience for anything in the world. It has brought me closer to God and my family and has made me into the person I am today. I still plan on following my dreams in cosmetics and cooking. My life is just beginning,” Daily Mail quoted her as saying on Facebook.

Dobrow gives speeches at schools and churches. She gives motivational speeches too. She encourages people to accept themselves as they are.
