CAIRO - 5 June 2017: Scientific research supervised by American researchers show that quick sport exercises improve the function of beta cells in adults who suffer from diabetes type 2.

Researchers show that beta cells in the pancreas are responsible for producing and keeping insulin to enable the body to make the best use of sugar. This is the first study to analyze the function of beta cells.

They added that working out extensively for 10-20 minutes; 3 days a week for 6 weeks improve the function of beta cells and consequently the performance of the secretion of insulin. Unfortunately, the lack of insulin would bring about many serious problems like muscle atrophy and macular degeneration of the eye.
