CAIRO – 31 January 2018: We decided to beat the cold and head out to Caribou to try their signature menu, and we were not disappointed.
Each of the four coffees that we tried turned out to be perfect for this gloomy cold weather, and somehow they managed to make us wish that it was always winter so that we could snuggle up in front of the fireplace at their Mohandeseen branch and enjoy the bittersweet mugs of coffee.
1. Campfire Mocha
The Campfire Mocha’s taste can only be described in one word – wintery. It offers a bittersweet feeling, which is owed to the balanced mix between the milk chocolate and espresso. We recommend that you order this in-house and take a seat beside the fireplace while munching away on the marshmallow topping.

2. Caramel High Rise
When espresso and caramel meet on top of the mountain, they form a captivating hot mug of coffee. From the first sip it will feel like your coffee just gave you a hug from the inside, and instantly the cold winter weather will not bother you anymore.

3. Turtle mocha
One of the best things about Caribou is that you can choose between milk, dark or white chocolate when it comes to your coffee. The Turtle Mocha is the perfect winter drink that will give you the energy boost to get up and roam around down.

4. Mint Condition Mocha
Served with a kick of chocolate mint, this minty mocha option will give you an unexpected minty kick and a refreshing hug at the same time.

Caribou’s story began in 1990, when the founders went out on an enchanting adventure in Alaska, climbing the Sable Mountain. While embracing the view, the idea of Caribou came to be, as they “believe (that) excellence is a product of hard work, and that life is too short for anything else.”
