World's shortest woman arrives in Cairo to promote tourism

CAIRO - 25 January 2018: Jyoti Amge of India, the World's shortest woman and Guinness World Records holder, started on Thursday a several days' visit to Egypt, during which she is scheduled to visit Egypt's tourist attractions.

The World's tallest, Sultan Kosen from Turkey, will also visit Cairo on Friday to join Amge in her tour of the tourist attractions in the country.

The tour is sponsored by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority.

Amge has participated in a number of movies and programs in India.

In December 2011, she was officially declared the world's shortest woman by Guinness World Records with a height of 62.8 centimeters.
