CAIRO – 31 October 2017: The Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo hotel took on the brave challenge of hosting and feeding the chefs of the Egyptian Chef’s Association (ECA) for their 20th Anniversary celebration.

The event took place in collaboration with Agriform, one of Italy’s top cheese production companies in the Veneto region. The cocktail reception gathered many chefs, media personnel and Cairo’s finest foodies at the award-winning, fine dining restaurant, The Grill.

Attendees wined and dined on the finest Italian risotto, ravioli and cheese-oriented passarounds crafted by the Semiramis Intercontinental culinary team and Agriform cheeses.

Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo hotel is one of Egypt’s well-established fine dining destinations. The association presented General Manager of Semiramis InterContinental Sameh Sobhy with a certificate of appreciation, commemorating two decades of success and many more to come.

ECA is a non-profit organization that has represented professional chefs in Egypt since 1997. It sets standards as well as providing education and career development to its members, with the aim of becoming internationally certified in the culinary world.
