CAIRO – 18 October 2017: Contouring is one of the most predominant makeup trends of 2017. It can either break or make your makeup look.

Contouring is not a one size fit all. Each face shape requires different techniques to accentuate its best features.

Mostly, people place the darker color around their forehead, down their cheekbones and nose and along the jaw line; while the lighter color is placed on the center of the forehead, down the bridge of the nose and along the cheekbones.

The most important trick with contouring is blending. Harsh lines around your face are not pretty; make sure you blend them.

In general, you can pick a cool tone contour color with an ashy undertone. However, if you are just bronzing your face and looking to achieve that sun kissed look, a warm town bronzer is the way to go.

Choosing your contour shade might be the most difficult step, as you want to pick a shade just dark enough, but not too dark. Choose a color which is one or two shades darker than your foundation to get a natural look.
