CAIRO - 11 October 2017: Finalist for the Miss World Egypt competition discussed at a press conference how their title allows them to have a positive impact on Egypt.

The 6 women that made it to the final rounds, each of category; Farah Sha’ban, Hadeer Khaleel, Farah Ahmed, Farah Kamal, Florian Ashraf, Hadeer Tariq, Marena Ayman all have different ambitions for life after the competition.

Finalist Farah Sha’ban said that her experience at the pageant was more of an educational experience rather than a competition. “They taught us how to talk and who to talk to, what to do and many different things. So it’s literally like a school not like what people think,” Sha’ban shared.Kamal shared that this competition taught her “coordination and how to deal with pressure and stress.”

Shaban hopes that she can collect money to donate to people in need and organizations that help children. On the other hand, Hadeer Tariq and Marena Ayman are extremely invested in cancer awareness, while Ayman wants to draw attention to children and the education system.
