Nomophobia is type of psychological syndrome, which indicated that a person is afraid of being out of mobile or cell phone contact. Nomophobia is an abbreviation for “no-mobile-phone phobia.”

According to The guardian, researchers from Hong Kong warned that Nomophobia is infecting everyone. The study found out that people who use their phones to share, store and access personal memories suffer most. If people describe how they feel about their phone by saying hurt or alone that speculates high levels of Nomophobia.

The solution is to be separated from your phone by turning it off for a day or leave it at home will help reduce anxiety and dependency. Using the phone creates inner conflict with yourself, plus it makes you feel alone. Therefore trying living without your phone for a day might help you decrease your anxiety.
