CAIRO – 5 September 2017: In 2012, the UN General Assembly declared September 5 to be the annual celebration of The International Day of Charity. The International Day of Charity was created to enhance and increase social responsibility; thus, this day is important to raise awareness and provide a platform for charity events.

This year marks the fifth anniversary of the event that is considered very important as it allows people to give a helping hand to those who need it.
