CAIRO – 25 August 2017: “Visions are worth fighting for. Why spend your life making someone else's dreams?” by Tim Burton.

He is an artist, writer, animator, producer and a film director. He is known for his dark, quirky, gothic and eccentric fantasy films like; Beetlejuice (1988), Edward Scissorhands (1990), the animated musical The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), the horror fantasy Sleepy Hollow (1999), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), and Frankenweenie (2012).

He is known for his blockbuster films such as the superhero films Batman (1989) and its first sequel Batman Returns (1992), the sci-fi film Planet of the Apes (2001), the musical adventure film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and the fantasy film Alice in Wonderland (2010) that gained a worldwide gross of over $1 billion.

His artistic direction is best known as dark and gloomy.
