According to the Facebook page “Best hang out places in Egypt” (goo.gl/XnwM88), the best time to visit the tower is in the afternoon to avoid the sun heat and enjoy the breath-taking view of sunset.

The tower has two restaurants; one of them is fixed and the other one spins slowly to enjoy the amazing view while having your meal. There are also affordable telescopes for use and even a playground for kids. You can take as many pictures as you want, and if your camera has a good zoom, you can see the pyramids of Giza!

Working hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. The entrance fee is LE 25 ($1.40) for Egyptians and LE 150 for foreigners. All you have to do is avoid national holidays and Fridays in order to avoid crowds and elevator lines and find a good place to park your car.
