CAIRO – 14 August 2017: YouTube is one of the most fun websites on the internet, but you can still have even more fun with it. Here are 5 tricks you can do on YouTube:

1- Make GIFs: If you are watching any YouTube video and you want to turn a part from that video into a GIF, just add the letters gif before the word ‘YouTube’ in the URL
For example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPU9mNSaXvM

is changed to
https://

www.gifyoutube.com/watch?v=aPU9mNSaXvM

2- Whenever you are watching a video that has captions or CC, you can make subtitles larger or smaller by using the buttons ‘-‘and ‘+’.

3- Write ‘Do the Harlem Shake’ in YouTube’s search bar, click search and just wait a few seconds. Spoiler alert: YouTube will do the Harlem Shake.

4- If you want to post a video but want it to play from a specific time, just reach that time, pause and right click on the screen, then choose copy URL at current time. Also, if you want to comment on a specific part of the video, just write its timing between brackets in your comment like this: (2:20). The bracket will be written in a blue color, which if you click, will take you to that specific time in the video.
