CAIRO – 13 August 2017: Rofayda Health Park Academy organized the largest training course for ‘Water Birth’ in the Middle East on Wednesday August 9 and Thursday August 10. The course was presented by Prof. Barbara Harper, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Omaima Idris, professor of obstetrics at Cairo University. A group of women, obstetricians, and nurses attended the course.

Water Birth is a kind of labor that takes place in a pool filled with warm water. Water Birth can take place in hospitals, birth centers or even at home.

Women who give birth through the Water Birth method might have less pain, avoid needing anesthesia and take less time to deliver their babies, according to webmed.com.
