Italy reports: We choose Egypt as a top travel destination

CAIRO – 11 August 2017:The Italian news agency “L'Agenzia di Viaggi” covered the meeting of Egyptian Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed with the president of Italian tourism companies’ association FIAVET and the vice president of the association Ivana Jelinic. The meeting took place in the Egyptian ministry. The news agency reported “Egyptian government is exerting a lot of efforts in tourism”.

The agency also reported the statement of the association’s president who said that Egypt has a special place in his heart, as it is the first country he ever visited when he started working in tourism , and noting Egypt’s successful contribution in Milano’s market last April.

Jelinic stated that the association is looking forward to cooperating with the ministry directly to promote Egypt as a tourism destination to Italian tourism companies, to place Egypt as a top tourist attraction in their travel programs in the coming period.

The president of the association had scheduled a visit to the pyramids Thursday, the agency reported, stating that the Italian press delegation had a great time in Egypt, and will make a point of confirming Egypt’s safety to the Italian people.
