CAIRO - 1 August 2017: The Algerian desert is a different kind of desert, with its volcanic formations sculpted by the wind, its spectacular geography unleashes the imagination.

Tamanrasset, in southern Algeria, in the Ahaggar Mountains is famous for the most beautiful sunsets in the region of Askaram that is characterized by its mountains, and is an important destination for tourists, who visit the city of Tamanrasset where the most beautiful sunset resides. The wonderful combination of the mountains and the purity of the sand with the sunset, makes a colorful painting.

Tassili n'Ajjer is a place consisting of sandstone rocks in the Algerian Sahara Desert, located on a huge plateau, that surrounds south-east Algeria, the west of Libya and the north of Niger. It consists of the whole of the Tassili N’Ajjer mountain range plus the sands and the dunes.

Djalfa is the capital city of the Djelfa province, and the site of an ancient city and former bishopric Fallaba, which remains a Latin Catholic titular see.
