Each year, we plan to claim the summer season as our own.
From the start of winter till its end, we search for the hottest clubs, beach houses, spas, and plan on how to wisely spend money without overspending, how to follow the latest fashion trends, etc. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned, and life’s obligations and its harsh realities hit us like a brick.
Even when we want to have a nice chill spring break or an extended holiday, something goes off and just like that, we are saying goodbye to the summer.
We feel like we got robbed of having fun, that everyone got their chances to live, travel, zone out, and we got stuck with life’s mundane and its restrictive duties, it sucks and we are not going to sugarcoat it; however, having fun and living our lives doesn’t always have to be done on the largest scale, but you need to work around your schedule to make life happen and embrace being a little flexible to changes.
Here are some simple ways to make the summer season memorable
Plan Small Hangouts
The saying “Go big or go home” is effective only if you have the freedom to make a splash and go on an adventure, but not all of us have the luxury of leaving work and obligations unattended. Despite our need for vitamin sea, life doesn’t always work in our favor.
from picnics, to brunch, and everything in between, there's always room for fun, simple hangouts that might seem small, but can elevate your mood.
Take Some Days Off Work
Even if you don’t have anything planned when considering taking some days off work, do it already.
It’s your right to enjoy some peace and quiet without the hussle and bustle of everyday work, nothing is going to fall apart if you decided to unplug for awhile.
Stay at home and sleep, binge a new show that you’ve been planning to see, host a game night, read a book, etc. Your body and mind demand a release from the constant pressure and stress you’re carrying.
No Vitamin Sea, Then Hit The Picsine
The summer heat demands cooling off, and as much as we love the sea and it shores, but if you’re on a tight budget or heavy schedule, then the pool will also do the work.
You can get the tan glow, regardless of the location, you just need to have the intention to let go and have fun.
