At some point in our lives, we find ourselves stuck somehow in a loop of recurring routines, between our jobs and personal lives. During that process, we often neglect our interests and forget old hobbies, or lose touch with activities we once loved, like painting, playing music, or sports we used to be passionate about.
But here’s the thing, growing up doesn't have to mean giving up on things that bring us joy, and it’s never too late to try something new—or to revisit what once lit a spark in you.
Whether you're looking to pick up a forgotten hobby or dive into something completely new, here are some tips to help you get started:

1. Start Small
Yes, it’s exciting to start something new, but you don’t need to dive in headfirst or spend a ton of money right away. Try to explore with the resources that you already have, and do good research before starting your new hobby,  The key is to let curiosity lead the way—without pressure or perfectionism.

2. Remember That You're a Beginner
We all feel failing, but allow yourself to go though the process of trial and error. You’re allowed to be messy, unsure, and even a little bad at your new hobby at first,  that’s part of the fun—watching yourself grow and improve over time.

3. Join a Community or Group
Hobbies become more fun and fulfilling when shared with others. Whether its an art class, a padel training or a yoga retreat, connecting with others who share your interest can definitely keep you motivated.

4. Don't Be Afraid to Try Again
Let’s be honest, not every hobby will stick but don't let that stop you from exploring new ones. Maybe painting didnt pique your interest, or you didn't give it enough time, what matters most is to enjoy the process and to reconnect with joy in small, meaningful ways.
