Now that Eid is sadly over, we all find ourselves in a position where we’re feeling a bit drained after back-to-back interactions, leaving you longing for solitude. The past month was all about gathering and enjoying each others’ companies, but sometimes we all need a break every now and then. If you’re feeling burnt out from too much socializing, here’s how to recharge effectively and guilt-free.

Give Yourself Solo Time
Spending time alone isn’t just about avoiding people; it’s about reconnecting with yourself. Do something that makes you feel at ease and relaxed, whether it’s watching a show, reading, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in the morning. Let your mind reset without external stimulation.

Set Social Boundaries
Feeling drained often happens when we overcommit to unnecessary plans. Learn to say no when needed. It’s okay to turn down invites if your energy levels are low—you’ll enjoy spending time with others more when you’re feeling recharged.

Take a Break From Social Media
Scrolling and watching your followers’ stories and replying to dms can leave you feeling even more drained. Step away from screens and engage in something physically or mentally soothing instead like yoga, or reading.

Focus on Quality Over Quantity
Not every interaction has to be long or deep. Instead of feeling pressured to be constantly available for others, hang out with the ones who'll genuinely bring you joy. Being selective with social engagements allows you to enjoy them without burning out.

Get Enough Sleep and Hydration
This one is a bit basic, we know but lack of sleep and dehydration can make social exhaustion even worse. Prioritize rest, drink enough water, and nourish your body with good food because all these factors contribute to your overall energy levels.
