CAIRO - 13 November 2023: Cairo is hosting the Honey Festival and the International Honey Conference at the Cairo International Conference Center in Nasr City in its 6th session, during the period from November 13 to 15.
In the following report, et sheds the light on the details of the fest:
1- About 140 exhibitors participate in the festival.
2- A total fo 30 countries, from all continents of the world, participate in the festival and conference.
3- Everything that concerns the honey bee industry and the growth and development of this important sector will be discussed during the period from November 13 to 15.
4- The various honey bee strains found inside Egypt have distinct productive qualities, as they are raised and their performance is improved according to good practices that guarantee their safety, no diseases, and high level of productivity.
5- The Ministry of Agriculture contributes to supporting the bee industry because it is one of the industries that has social and economic returns, as approximately 25 thousand families work in this sector, own approximately two million beehives and produce approximately 15 thousand to 20 thousand tons of honey annually.
