CAIRO - 20 July 2017: Feast of Tourism takes place at the full moon of October each year, where almost all of the Original Siwian residents camp near El-Dakroor Mountain for three days; originally made to melt the ice between different families and keep the spirit of love high.

At nights they make Sufi circles and pray in a musical tone; the bigger the circle the better the energy output and several circles take place from sunset till late midnight.

Wealthier members of the Siwian culture buy cows to be cooked for a food festival every day at lunch. Cooking is done above El-Dakroor Mountain on fire with huge pots, people then submit their plates to be filled with rice and meat and no one is allowed to start eating unless a call is made.

They welcome tourists who show interest in attending this festival; just make sure to ask for the agreed date of the festival ahead.
