Aswan's Botanical Garden receives 1,650 visitors during Eid holiday

CAIRO - 5 July 2023: Director General of the Botanical Garden in Aswan, Dr. Amr Mahmoud, confirmed that the total number of visitors of the garden during the Eid Al-Adha holidays, reached about 1,650, including 375 foreign tourists from different international nationalities.
 
Dr. Amr Mahmoud added that the botanical garden is one of the important tourist attractions in the city of Aswan, and in seasons it receives visitors and guests from all over the world to spend the festive season and events in the garden.
 
The director of the park continued that Eid Al-Adha is one of the occasions that attract large numbers to the garden, adding that the botanical garden includes various destinations for visitors to enjoy. The first is a wonderful Nile cruise amid the rocks and scenic landscapes, in addition to a scientific botanical trip, as it is a scientific institution in the first place, to watch rare and beautiful plants whose history spans more than 120 years.
 
He explained that the park management is keen to provide all the appropriate atmosphere for visitors so that they can enjoy spending a special day inside this tourist attraction, which includes more than 800 rare plant species in the world, indicating that work has already been intensified, especially before the festive seasons and public events, to avoid all obstacles.
