The moment we’re all waiting for, Eid El Fitr is here and everyone is excited to celebrate with their families and friends.

From enjoying delicious food to going to the beach and shopping, this holiday is a time to rejoice and celebrate together.  To some, Eid is a chance to let out all the repressed energy and be active, while this is a great way to have fun, others prefer to stay at home and enjoy quality time.

It’s important to note here, that it’s ok not to do anything this Eid. Quoting Bruno Mars “Today, I don’t feel like doing anything. I just wanna lay in my bed. Don't feel like picking up my phone. So leave a message at the tone.”

You shouldn’t feel guilty about staying at home and doing absolutely nothing.
Everyone’s method to recharge, and unwind their minds is different.
While it feels like society is constantly pushing you to go out and do something, a clear state of mind is the way to having a fulfilling life. This happens when you do the things that make you comfortable.

Use this Eid to elevate your mood and have a positive outlook on life. Avoid all the negative vibes, the things that trigger anxiety and stress, and try to focus on improving your mental and physical health.

Whether it is staying in and enjoying a movie night or reading your favorite book, always remind yourself that you deserve this break. After your hard work and hectic schedule, balancing between work and play, you’ve earned the right to have some time off.

Because your health matters, here are a couple of things you can do this Eid while sitting at home.

● Watch your favorite movie
● Meditate
● Cut down on your screen time
● Pamper yourself with hair and skin treatments
● Fix your sleeping schedule
● Eat healthy food

In conclusion, do whatever makes you happy and let go of your worries.
