CAIRO – 18 July 2017: July 17 is the World Emoji Day; to celebrate the day, Apple added new emoji on the iOS, macOs, and watchOs. They also added the emoji to iTunes movies in place of 'select movie title' as well as highlighting applications in App Store that create new emoji.

The new emoji added are woman with headscarf, bearded person, breastfeeding, and some new food items such as coconut, plus more animals and mythical creatures like T-rex, Zebra, Zombie & Elf, beside other emoji such as exploding head.

Apple is trying to attract a wider customer base through using the divers' emoji.

Apple is not the only ones celebrating the day; Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are using the hashtag #WorldEmojiDay as well.
