Love is in the air today as most of the couples out there are celebrating Valentine’s. While some love this day, others find it a bit too cliché and believe that you don’t have to wait for Valentine’s Day to express love or celebrate what you have with your partner. Maybe, it is not the day itself that is cliché, but some other things associated with it that make many people anti-Valentine. Here are Valentine's clichés we need to end.

All red everything.
On that day, red color is dominant literally everywhere. Red hearts, ribbons, candy, gift wrapping, and even outfits. It is true red color is a symbol of love, but we don’t have to really limit everything to it on that day. You can still wrap your gift in any other color, and your outfit doesn’t have to be red. In fact, anything but red.

Box of Chocolates
Chocolates are great, but what if your partner isn’t so into chocolates or has other favorite things to enjoy eating? Make your gift more personalized, and fill the box with the things your partner truly loves. There are plenty of options that can make them happier.

Red Roses
Buy flowers but they don’t have to be red. It is true red roses are the best to express love, but again you need to consider other options and you also don’t have to stick to roses. Whether lilies, tulips, or other options, ask the florist to design a creative bouquet for you.
