CAIRO - 13 July 2017: Meet Mr. Scarecrow, an authentic worldwide method of scaring birds out of fields.

Yes, this figure is supposedly scary from a bird eye view.

Usually they are made up like birds make their nests, from anything available in the environment. This is how Egyptians made it this season.

They are made to Scare birds in an attempt to save the crop from being eaten. Although it is originally made for its usability, it ends up a funny piece of art that makes the field looks more childish.

Old men keep making fun with children by talking to this figure as a real man and saying hi while passing by, and children are left lost in their thoughts.
