‘TENNIS FOR HOPE’: A one of a kind event organised by Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski Hotel.

In its efforts to give back to society, Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski hotel in Cairo collaborated with the international campaign ‘The Hope Giver’, led by the tennis champion and cancer survivor Captain Anwar El Kamouny, ‘Zed Sports Club’ led by Captain Karim Zaher, ‘Baheya Foundation’ and ‘Gelato on Wheelz’ to bring heartfelt joy to orphans and cancer survivors with the distinctive ‘Tennis for Hope’ event.

The event took place at the Palace’s outdoor terrace and included many fun activities like "play against the champion", “How many balls can you balance”, “Fitness coaching”, “Relays” and so much more. Some of the finest tennis players in Egypt were there to coach the kids among which was Karim Maamoun, Ola Abou Zekery, Tarek Esawy, Ahmed Bouri, Mina Albert, Ahmed Lotayef, Mohamed Abdallah, Emad Abdallah, Hassan Aaid, Ziad Abadalah, Ameer Abdallah, Essam Taweel, Ahmed Karim, Ibrahim Mohamed, Lucho, Dr.Mohamed Fawzy and  Dr. Mahmoud.

The initiative was unique as it offered the children a priceless experience of getting acquainted with tennis for the first time while they enjoy the sound of music followed by a variety of lunch buffet offerings handcrafted by the hotel’s most passionate and skilled Chef and a surprise appearance of 'Gelato On Wheelz' spreading real joy through ice cream.

For a sweet finale, Mai Abdel Aziz took the stage to spread hope with a few songs aimed at spreading acceptance, self-love and having hope. Finally, Captain Ola Abu Zekry representing Zed Sports Club, Maha Abdo the Assistant Director of Marketing and Public Relations representing the hotel and Captain Anwar Al Kamouny Founder of the Hope Giver campaign, distributed participation certificates on all attendees.
