CAIRO - 17 April 2020: The Ministry of Health revealed the mechanisms of practicing sports during the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing the need not to wear the mask while practicing sports exercise because it reduces the ability to breathe duly.

The Ministry of Health added, in an infographic on its official Facebook page, that you should stay away from others by a distance of not less than one meter, in addition to the need to walk regularly during the evening period.

CNN reported that the British Journal of Sports Medicine released a new study that revealed that a commitment to exercise for 22 minutes a day may reduce the risk of serious infection with the Coronavirus.

The study was based on data of 50 thousand people infected with Coronavirus, where it found that those who exercised at least 150 minutes a week were less likely to produce severe symptoms of Coronavirus compared to others.

The study confirmed that following the World Health Organization guidelines that many countries adhere to may support the ability of physical activity that enhances the body's immunity and improves lung and cardiovascular health, in addition to improving mental health, thus reducing the severity of disease symptoms.
