CAIRO –4 July 2017: On June 2, Egypt launched a big event for Egyptian women living abroad as part of “Taa Marbouta” conference that took place at Al Masah Hotel on Sunday.

Minster of Immigration and Expatriate Affairs, Nabila Makram participated in the event.
The event brought together participants from the ministries of higher education, solidarity, justice, investment, international cooperation, health and military production, plus a large number of NGOs as stated in Egypt Independent.

At the closing of the event Maya Morsy, President of the National Council for Women presented the Honor Shield to Captain Mona Shindy head of the Guided Missile Frigate System Program Office in Australia and Mechanical Engineer Dr. Hoda el-Maghraby in Canada and the other 29 highly valued Egyptian female expatriates participating in the “Taa Marbouta” conference.

“Taa Marbouta” refers to an Arabic alphabet that indicates the feminine conjugation in the Arabic language.
