Egypt's Grand Museum awarded 4 ISO certificates in 180 days

CAIRO - 11 March 2021: The Grand Egyptian Museum was granted a new certificate of ISO/PAS 45005:2020, winning the fourth certificate within 180 days.

 
 
The new certificate is related to the management of risks arising from COVID-19 to protect health, safety and welfare at workplaces.
 
 
 
Atef Moftah, supervisor of the GEM project, contacted the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) to make sure that the museum complies with the global standards of quality in dealing with the outbreak of coronavirus.
 
 
 
The council sent a letter that confirms meeting the international standards by the museum to be awarded the ISO/PAS45005:2020 certificate.
 
 
 
The GEM was previously awarded ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certificates, which are related to compliance with occupational safety and health, environment management and quality systems. (MENA)
