Qubbat el-Ghoury Theater hosts concert for oud duo Dina, Ghassan on March 12

CAIRO – 8 March 2021: On March 12 at 7:30 p.m., the oud duo Ghassan and Dina will perform a concert entitled “Peace Travels” at Qubbat el-Ghoury Theater.

The duo will present a selection of Dina Abdel Hamid's new compositions entitled “Life”, as well as works of the late music giants Umm Kulthum,  Fairouz, Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Farid el- Atrash. This is in addition to an anthology of the finest works of the Egyptian and Syrian heritage while both playing one oud, which is one of their innovations.

It is worth noting that the duo, Dina Abdel Hamid and Ghassan al-Youssef, filmed their first clip playing the oud on the banks of the Nile.
