Tom Cruise turns 55 years old Monday

CAIRO - 3 JULY 2017: Academy Award- winning actor and Hollywood heartthrob, Tom Cruise, celebrates his 55th birthday on Monday.

After more than 35 years in the industry, Cruise continues to stun audiences with his performances in every film. His latest role in “The Mummy” is currently in theaters now.

His most famous roles are from the movies the “Mission Impossible” series, “Top Gun”, “Risky Business,” and “All the Right Moves.”

Cruise has almost 30 awards on his shelf. He won both, an Oscar and a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his roles in “Jerry Maguire” in 1997 and “Born on Fourth of July” in 1990, respectively. In addition he won the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe in 2000 for his role in the movie “Magnolia.”

He has also directed the television series “Fallen Angels”, and wrote the film “Days of Thunder” starring himself, Nicole Kidman and Robert Duvall.
