CAIRO – 18 February 2021: The British Guardian published a photo report showcasing the beautiful landscapes of the White Desert in Egypt and the activities  provided for visitors to this region.

The photos illustrated some rock formations in the white desert, a view located about 500 km from Cairo, indicating how tourists during their visit should take memorial photos next to this unique landscape, the most prominent of which is the large rock formation known as "Mushrooms".

This is in addition to taking pictures next to the "Saint" tree and inside the "Al Maghrafa" cave in the Bahariya Oasis.

Some of the photos in the report also showed a wonderful view of the sunset over the "Jazira Mountains" in the white desert, and another group of pictures showed the activities that tourists can do while they are in the area and on safari trips.

The report mentioned the initiative "Winter in Egypt" launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Hotel Establishments Chamber since January 2021 to promote domestic tourism.
