CAIRO – 15 February 2021: The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is participating, for the first time, in the "Diyarna Handicrafts Exhibition 2021", which will be held from February 15 to 25 in Cairo Festival City, Fifth Settlement.

Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for the Development of Archaeological Sites and Museums Iman Zidan said that the ministry is participating in this exhibition by displaying the archaeological reproductions of the new artifact reproduction factory Kunooz, which is set to open soon to meet the public's needs for archaeological models.

This is in addition to various handicrafts and traditional products and books printed by the Supreme Council of Antiquities.

Zidan also explained that this exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and is one of the largest handicrafts exhibitions organized by the ministry to support and empower craftsmen, productive families’ associations, and owners of small and micro enterprises.

This comes in line with the 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy for the development of traditional industries and handicrafts made by Egyptian hands.
