CAIRO – 11 February 2021: The Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts Troupe won the title of best performance of theatrical institutes in the African continent for the year 2020 with the show "Beauty and the Beast", in addition to the African League award.
It is noteworthy that the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts has participated in the festival for three consecutive years.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication in the Kingdom of Morocco and the ESIL Association for Theater and Cultural Activation, with the participation of 13 countries representing twelve Higher Institutes of Dramatic Arts, namely Egypt, Finland, Norway, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Spain, France, Netherlands, Chile, Italy, Austria, Germany, Poland in addition to Morocco.
The festival witnessed the international participation of more than 200 theater artists and academics.
