Submission period for Egypt’s 23rd National Film Festival extended to Feb. 7

CAIRO – 28 January 2021: Critic Kamal Ramzy said that the Cultural Development Fund sector continues to receive requests for participation in the 23rd Egyptian National Film Festival for feature films, documentaries, short films and animation films produced in 2020 until February 7,  2021.

Ramzy added that the extension of the period of receiving applications to participate in the festival aims to allow the largest number of filmmakers to participate in the activities of the 23rd edition.

He also added that the next edition will include films that were previously submitted and produced during the years 2018 and 2019.
