CAIRO – 17 January 2021: Gallery Misr commemorates on January 17 late plastic artist Mahmoud Abdullah (1936 – 2002), launching an exhibition that includes a group of his works at 7:00 p.m.

“Mahmoud Abdullah is an important milestone in the history of Egyptian artistic avant-garde, as he represents a unique experimental mentality that roamed several artistic paths, each could have been individually suited to be a research topic that completely takes up an artist’s lifetime, but he could move from one experience to another,” said artist and critic Amal Nasr.

The exhibition will run until February 4 at the Gallery Misr in Zamalek.
