CAIRO – 10 January 2020: The archaeological area of ​​Bani Hassan in Minya Governorate received, on January 10, a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Dutch Institute in Cairo, to inspect the area, in preparation for developing its tourism services within the framework of the joint cooperation project between the ministry and the institute.

 

The delegation included Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for the Development of Museums and Archaeological Sites Iman Zeidan, Deputy Governor of Minya Mohammad Mahmoud Abu Zeid, and Culture and Development Officer at the Dutch Embassy Dalia Daoud, among others.

 

Zeidan explained that the development project includes the development of a number of explanatory and indicative panels about the site, its monuments, the path of the visit, the health safety controls in place, and other useful information for visitors.

 

Moreover, a cafeteria and self-cleaning toilets are being established in the site, and brochures printed in different languages ​​are provided, to improve the visitors' experience.
