CAIRO - 9 January 2021:Veteran  Egyptian actor Hadi el Gayar passes away on Sunday morning at the age of 71 because of Coronavirus.

El Gayar died inside Al-Haram hospital. The late great actor was transferred to the hospital after he tested postive for COVID-19.

El Gayar underwent open-heart surgery before his infection with coronavirus.

 

 

 
 

He was planned to participate in the second part of the successful Egyptian sequel  “El Ekhteyar” (The Choice) starring Egyptian stars Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Mekky.

 

El Gayar funeral will take place after the noon prayer at his family’s grave in the 6th of October City.

The late Egyptian actor was born on October 15, 1949.

He studied acting at the High Institute of Theatrical Arts.

El Gayar’s career milestone was his role in the highly sucessful  play “Madraset Elmoshaghbeen” (School of Rowdies) along with with the veterans Adel Emam, Saeed Saleh, Ahmed Zaki, Younis Shalaby, Sohair el Bably and Hassan Mostafa.

 

He participated in a number of sucessful TV series, such as “ Souq el Asser” ( El Asser Market), “ Valentino”,  “El Mal w El Banoon” (Fortune and Progeny), “Elraya Elbeida” (The White Flag), “Alnawares wal Soqur” (Albatrosses and Falcons), 

El Gayar Is best known for his roles in “Thom Tashreq Alshams” (Then The Sun Rises) , and “Ihtares Esabet Alnisaa” (Take Care from the Women’s Gang).
