CAIRO – 7 January 2020: Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem announced the start of the implementation of the second phase of the free workshop project "Ebdaa Helmak" [Start Your Dream] in the governorates to prepare actors in various theater arts.

 

It will be launched in 5 governorates, namely Beni Suef, Kafr El-Sheikh, Port Said, Giza and Aswan.

 

The subscription forms were put up on the websites of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces headed by Ahmed Awad, and will be available online throughout the month of January until mid-February, 2021.

 

Inas Abdel Dayem said that the “Start Your Dream” workshop is one of the projects implemented by the Ministry of Culture in the various governorates to discover, support and nurture young artistic talents.

 

It also aims to invest the energies of young people in the various regions of Egypt to enrich the field of theater, as it is one of the methods of raising awareness and developing society, in addition to achieving the aspirations of many talented youth nationwide.

 

Abdel Dayem also stated that workshop contributes to creating new generations of playwrights who have the ability to restore prosperity to the Egyptian theater, noting that the first phase that was implemented in the governorates of Assiut, Fayoum, and Sharqia, witnessed a remarkable turnout and achieved great success.
