CAIRO – 31 December 2020: Egypt’s Ministry of Culture welcomes the New Year with an evening that comes within the framework of the online initiative "Culture is Between Your Hands".

 

It starts on December 31 at 10 p.m. and continues until the early hours of the next morning.

 

The Ministry of Culture will broadcasts on its YouTube channel a recorded presentation of the latest production of the Nutcracker ballet, followed by a concert for Tunisian star Saber el-Rebai at the end of the 29th Arab Music Festival and Conference.

 

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel-Dayem congratulated all Egyptians on the occasion of the new year, and stressed that the e-initiative “Culture is Between Your Hands” was a forerunner in investing modern technological means in order to complete the enlightening message in light of the precautionary measures imposed by the state to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
