Egyptian star Yosra El Lozy gives tough lesson to a bully describes her daughter with deaf

CAIRO - 30 December 2020: Egyptian star Yosra El Lozy was subjected to online bullying after a bully commented on a post on her official Instagram account describing her with “mother of the deaf” because of her daughter’s poor hearing.

Lozy taught the bully a lesson in a respectable and honorable way and raised awareness about the right way to describe children who suffer from hard of hearing pointing out that the right expression to describe them is “hard of hearing”. 

The Egyptian star expressed her pride to be the mother of a deaf child who will become in the future an extraordinary , educated, and independent  person without being a burden on anyone.

She pointed out  that her daughter made her to speak in TV programs and demand  for early examination to newly born babies to perform a hearing test.

El Lozy pointed out that this early examination will improve the lives of families and allow children who suffer from hard of hearing to get the needed support from an early age to be able to receive the needed education and properly engage in the society.

A number of Egyptian artists were keen to show their solidarity with El Lozy such as Ahmed L Saadany, Zeina, Naglaa Badr, among others.
