CAIRO – 7 December 2020: Egypt’s Supreme Council of Culture and the External Cultural Relations Sector organize the seventh evening in the series of  "Cultural Relations" initiative, during which the Egyptian-Greek relations are celebrated.

 

The Egyptian-Greek relations will be celebrated on December 9 at 6p.m., in the hall of the Supreme Council of Culture. This comes under the patronage of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Culture Hisham Azmy and Souad Shawky, head of the Foreign Cultural Relations Sector.

 

The evening includes a speech by Egypt’s culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem, a speech by Ambassador Nicolas Garilides, Ambassador of Greece in Cairo, and a speech by Ambassador Mohamed Farid Munib, the former assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Egyptian ambassador to Greece, in addition to the participation of a group of Egyptian cultural leaders and specialists in Egyptian-Greek cultural cooperation.

 

The evening also includes a short documentary film about Greece.
