CAIRO – 1 December 2020: On Behalf of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, Head of the General Egyptian Book Organization Haitham el-Hag Ali and Qus Abram Emil, Under-Secretary of Pope Tawadros II in Alexandria, inaugurated the book fair at St. Mark's Cathedral, at El-Raml Station, which is open to the public until December 4.

Ali said that Abdel Dayem had directed to dedicate a set of GEBO’s newest publications to the cathedral’s library to complete the library that the Ministry of Culture donated to the Church last year.

Also, Ali discussed with Father Abram the aspects of cooperation that could be established with the cathedral’s library to serve its visitors.

The exhibition included a large variety of GEBO’s publications, including general publications, series, the family library, books for children, in addition to foreign books in multiple languages.
