4 Egyptians compete in Sheikh Zayed’s Book Award Long List

CAIRO – 29 November 2020: The Sheikh Zayed Book Award revealed the long list of the arts branch at its fifteenth edition, which includes 12 works from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait, Sudan and Iraq.

The list includes 9 fiction works. The participating Egyptian works are "The Travelers' Room" by novelist Izzat el-Kamhawi from Egypt, published by the Egyptian Lebanese House.

The list also includes the novel “Fi Athar Inayat el-Zayyat” by the Egyptian novelist Eman Mersal, published by the Khan Book Library and “Doctor Aryaf” by the Egyptian novelist Mohammad el-Mansi Qandil, published by Al-Shorouk Publishing House.

The list also included 3 collections of poetry, including "Ma Ana Feh" by the Egyptian poet Ahmed el-Shahawi, issued by the Egyptian Lebanese House.
