CAIRO – 25 November 2020: Due to the bad weather that will extend to November 26, Haitham el-Hag Ali, head of the General Egyptian Book Organization, suspended the activities of the Opera House Book Fair, provided that the publishers will return on Friday to equip the pavilions, furnish them and supply them with new books.

The book fair will be opened again to the public on November 28 at 10 a.m., and will extend until the evening of December 1.

The Opera House Book Fair was officially inaugurated by Egypt’s Min. of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, and Haitham el-Hag Ali, head of the General Egyptian Book Organization, last Thursday.

The fair will be held in the El-Hanager Theater on an area of 850 square meters, with the participation of 32 publishing houses and sectors of the Ministry of Culture, including the General Authority for Culture Palaces, Dar al-Kotob and Dar al-Maaref.
