Egypt’s General Authority for Culture Palaces resumes celebrations of International Children’s Day

CAIRO – 24 November 2020: The General Authority for Cultural Palaces continues celebrating the International Children’s Day at the sites of the Sharqiyah Culture Branch.

 

The Minya Al Qamh Culture Palace held a literary symposium on Monday that included poems on children. After that, the children presented some songs and poems.

 

The poet Reda Aboul Gheit spoke about the celebration of the International Children’s Day and what are the rights approved by international conventions for children, including the right to health care, education, with special attention to children with special needs.

 

He also explained the role of the state and individuals in preserving these rights. The celebration concluded by honoring children gifted in singing and poetry.

 

For its part, the Canal Culture House organized a symposium entitled "International Children’s Day”.
