CAIRO - 15 November 2020: The activities of the 5th Annual Conference of Child Literature Documentation and Research Center on Child Literature and Egypt’s Vision 2030 -organized by the General Authority for National Library and Archives- launches on Nov. 18 in Ali Mubarak Hall at the headquarters of the Authority.

 

 

It is worth noting that the conference’s activities include many axes related to children's literature, including the development of innovation and scientific thinking among children, child upbringing methods and contemporary changes in both electronic and non-electronic cultural environments and training them to face crises in a way that serves the dimensions of sustainable development, cultural industries for children's literature which focuses on the arts of children in all its forms, children's literature, heritage protection and promotion which focuses on tangible and intangible heritage, in addition to raising the efficiency and skills of cultural institutions and their workers in the field of child literature, which revolves around job satisfaction, employee attitudes towards institutions, child literature and social justice.

 

 

This edition of the forum aims to open a community dialogue between interested experts, specialists, workers and those in charge of culture, arts and child literature in Egypt about the role of child literature in implementing the vision of Egypt 2030 in a way that serves building a better future for the Egyptian people during the next decade.

 

 

A distinguished group of academic professors and experts will lecture in it in addition to writers specializing in various fields of child literature.

 

 

The main program of the conference also includes honoring the distinguished child writer and theater director, Fatima el-Maqdoul, in appreciation of her efforts in building institutions of child culture and literature in Egypt and in gratitude for her tangible role in the cultural industries of children.
