CAIRO - 12 November 2020: The National Center for Child Culture, headed by writer Mohamed Nassif, celebrates Egyptian children who won international prizes in writing and drawing from China, Japan and Uzbekistan, on November 12 at 4 p.m.

Medals and certificates were distributed to them in the Child's Cultural Park. This comes under the patronage of Egypt's Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and Hisham Azmy, secretary general of the Supreme Council of Culture.

"These children raised the name of Egypt  and achieved a cultural victory worthy of appreciation at a time where the world is suffering from the COVID-19 crises", said Nassif.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, represented by the National Center for Child Culture, participated in 11 diverse works for children, which were educational videos, a song, a story and a plastic art exhibition.

Egypt has landed first place in Africa and the Arab world in the global competition in which 30 countries participated.

Nassif, head of the National Center for Child Culture, handed over 24 other certificates to the distinguished Egyptian works that participated in the global competition, which were presented in China and translated into Chinese.
